Hi! I'm Cherie.

Co-founder and CEO of Saalt, host of The Saalt Show podcast, social entrepreneur, speaker, author, and philanthropist. But my favorite title? “Mom” to five daughters and one son. Since 2018, I've been building a mission-driven company that's changing how the world approaches menstrual health, all while raising a house full of kids. It hasn't been easy, but I've figured out a few winning strategies along the way.

Now I’m here to help you build a career and a life you love without losing yourself in the process.

I didn't start out as a CEO. I have an English degree, not an MBA. For 15 years I worked as a technical writer and co-authored nine editions of college textbooks on fitness and wellness. I'm one of those nerdy folks who gets fired up about taking complex ideas and breaking them into clear, actionable steps. After helping launch a few e-commerce ventures behind the scenes, my husband, Jon, and I launched Saalt in 2018. Within months, I was sitting across from Target's buyer, and our cups went on shelves nationwide in our second year. By our third year, we had hit our first eight-figure milestone. On paper, it was every founder's dream. In real life, I was leading team meetings with a baby in my arms, working until 2 a.m. most nights, and missing bedtimes I would never get back. My business was driving me instead of me driving it.

At a conference for women entrepreneurs, I heard the words that changed everything: work-life balance is a myth. So I stopped chasing it and did what I know how to do best. I treated my life like a technical writing problem. I mapped out who I wanted to become in a big, nerdy spreadsheet, tested it on myself, and refined it year after year until I had a system that worked even on my hardest days.

I stopped trying to balance work and life and learned to integrate them.
